The scope fact buyers get wrong about the 2026 Colorado is that the technology is a trim decision. It is not. An 11.3-inch touchscreen with Google built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 11-inch digital driver display and the whole Chevy Safety Assist package are standard on the Work Truck and identical on the ZR2. Blind-spot monitoring and front and rear cross-traffic alert are standard across the lineup too, which is not true of every truck in this class.

2026 Colorado Infotainment and Connectivity
One screen set, six trims, no upgrade path to buy. The centre display is an 11.3-inch diagonal touchscreen with Google built-in, which means Maps and Assistant run natively on the truck rather than through a phone. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility are standard alongside it. The driver display is an 11-inch diagonal digital Driver Information Center, which Chevrolet describes as best-in-class standard for the segment.
Google built-in matters on one specific stretch of road here. The eastbound merge onto Route 22 at 15th Street puts a short ramp into traffic that is already stopped in both rush hours, and native navigation that does not drop with a phone connection is worth more there than any amount of screen size. The Work Truck has the same setup as the ZR2, so none of this is a reason to move up a trim.
Available on top: wireless charging, a Trailering app, up to ten camera views, and underbody cameras. Six speakers are standard on the Work Truck.
Super Cruise and Hands-Free Driving on the Colorado
Straight answer: Super Cruise is not offered on the 2026 Colorado. Chevrolet's hands-free driver assistance system is fitted to other vehicles in the range. The Colorado's driver-assistance content is Chevy Safety Assist plus the blind-spot and cross-traffic systems below.
The same applies to adaptive cruise control: Chevrolet does not list it for the 2026 Colorado. Some third-party spec pages say it is available on the LT and above. Because the manufacturer enumerates this truck's driver-assistance suite and does not include it, no adaptive-cruise claim is made on this page. Standard Driver Assistance Features
Chevy Safety Assist is standard on all six trims and bundles six features:

Those two are the ones that matter most on I-78, where the ordinary condition is merging beside fifty-three-foot trailers at every hour of the day. Available Driver Assistance and Packages
The camera systems are where the Colorado's options list actually adds capability. Up to ten camera views are available, and on the ZR2 those include underbody cameras, which Chevrolet describes as a segment first and which let you see the terrain beneath the truck. For towing, the hitch-guidance view turns lining up a coupler into a one-person job, and the Trailering app runs on the standard 11.3-inch screen rather than being locked to an upper trim.
Other options worth knowing: an Off Road Lighting Package at $750 on the Trail Boss, and an Off-Road Recovery Kit at $650. Wireless charging is available from the LT up.

Blind-spot alert matters most on the Bethlehem and Easton stretches of Route 22; the cameras matter more on the tighter streets in Emmaus, Nazareth and Slatington. The useful thing about this truck's technology from a shopping point of view is that it removes a decision: you do not have to price up two trims to compare screens, because they are the same screens. That leaves the drivetrain and the suspension as the only real questions, and both are easier to settle from the driver's seat than from a page.
Summer storms drop enough water fast enough here that low creek crossings go under while the sun is still out, which is a reasonable argument for spending twenty minutes with the camera views before you need them rather than after.
