The Outten Family of Dealerships began December 7th, 1979 at the corner of 19th & Tilghman Streets in Allentown, Pennsylvania. This was the grand opening of Outten Chevrolet of Allentown
In 1990, the Outten Used Car Center, a budget-oriented used vehicle dealership was opened on South 4th St. in Allentown. In addition to standard bank financing, the Outten Used Car Center offers in-house auto loans and has helped hundreds of customers re-establish positive credit when other lenders refused to help.
In 1997, Outten Buick Pontiac of Hamburg, PA was opened and soon. expanded to include Chevrolet and Oldsmobile. Today, Outten Chevrolet of Allentown of Hamburg is a Mark of Excellence award winning dealership. A modern renovation and expansion was completed in 2013 to meet the needs of our growing customer base.
In 2004 Outten Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Hamburg, PA was added to the family of dealerships. Outten Chrysler is a winner of prestigious Chrysler Dealer of the Year award.
In 2010 Outten Kia of Hamburg, PA was opened.
In 2021, the Outten organization expanded to Schuylkill County! Our Chrysler Dodge Ram Jeep store opened up their second location in Tamaqua to meet the needs of customers from Pottsville, Scranton, and Hazleton.
