About the 2026 Chevrolet Equinox
The 2026 Chevrolet Equinox is a five-passenger compact SUV offered in three trims, the value-focused LT, the sport-styled RS, and the rugged ACTIV, priced from $28,800 for the LT to $33,600 for the RS and ACTIV before a $1,995 destination charge, with all-wheel drive adding $2,000. Every Equinox runs a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder making 175 horsepower, paired with front-wheel drive and a CVT or all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic, and it tows up to 1,500 pounds properly equipped. There is no hybrid; the electric Equinox EV is a separate model. For families around Allentown, it balances an easy-to-park footprint with a usefully roomy cabin.
Carried over from its 2025 redesign, the 2026 Equinox makes the 11.3-inch Google Built-In touchscreen and an 11-inch digital driver display standard on every trim, and a drive-mode selector is now standard across the lineup for 2026. Chevy Safety Assist, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel are standard, while the ACTIV adds all-terrain tires for light off-pavement use. The lineup returns up to 27 mpg combined. Outten Chevrolet serves Walnutport, New Tripoli, Germansville, Neffs, Laurys Station, Cetronia, Dorneyville, and Ancient Oaks.
